This project presents an interactive Restaurant Inspection Analytics Dashboard built in Microsoft Power BI, designed to analyze restaurant inspection data and sanitation performance across different regions. The dashboard provides insights into inspection volumes, sanitation grades, and health violations, allowing users to monitor food safety compliance and identify areas with the highest number of violations. Key indicators include the current month inspections (5,901), inspection targets, and an average sanitation grade of 92.21, which helps evaluate overall restaurant hygiene performance.
The dashboard also enables deeper analysis of inspection results by region, zip code, and violation type. Users can explore violation trends over time, compare sanitation grades, and identify regions or facilities with the highest inspection volumes. Interactive filters such as date range, inspector name, and facility region allow users to perform detailed analysis and uncover patterns in food safety violations. This project demonstrates practical skills in data visualization, public health data analysis, and interactive dashboard development using Power BI.
